    Calculating Allocated Space

    HI

I like to know about space allocation, for example I have created a user plan with 500MB and gave services like

    a) 1 domain name

    b) 1 website - (suppose used 50MB)

    c) 5 email ids 20mb each (100MB)

    d) mysql unlimited (suppose used 100MB)

    e) 1 ms sql (suppose used 50MB)

    f) 1 ftp account

In the above services a,b,f are in server 1 and here DNP Enterprise Server runs.

    d and e runs in server 2

c (email) runs in server 3

    Does our DNP calculate all the server spaces 50 + 100 + 100 + 50 = 300 USED and 200MB Free

Like this or it will calculate only the space where the services running the same server where Enterprise server runs and omit space in server 2 and 3

     Please kindly explain me

    Thanking You

    Regards

    Vijay Anand

    Hi Vijay,

DNP calculates used disk space on all servers.

However, currently it doesn't support MySQL disk space calculation. It will be done in the next DNP 2.0.2 release.

Yes but does it combine it?

If a space is alocated 1GB, and a Database is alocated 200 MB... does that 200MB come off of the 1GB or is it on top (1.2GB total space for that user)

That "maximum database quota" is just to limit MS SQL database growth.

The overall allocated space will be 1GB as defined in "System" group.
