You do not need to update your license(s) while upgrading from 1.x to 2.x. Please follow this article in order to be on the safe side while upgrading from 1.x to 2.x: http://help.dotnetpanel.com/Installation%20Guide/Updating%20DNP%201.5.3%20to%202.0.1.aspx.

    Re: License upgrade

I already tried it but its not working. I privide the 1.x license serial number but it says invalid license key. Do I PM you full details about my license.

BTW what does it means if you are saying "I dont need to update my key"

Please, do not try to install old licenses as they are not compatible with DNP 2.X and will be rejected).

Please, watch carefully that the same license is not installed on several servers. Such licenses will be automatically blocked by licensing engine.

BTW which ports DNP need to be open to access license db on your server my web host is behind firewall.

You need to login on http://www.dotnetpanel.com and then go to My Account -> My Licenses page. Copy necessary key and put it into your DNP instance correspondingly.
