If one were to buy version 1.5X today and in two weeks version 2 comes out, would those who bought within the last month get the new version or would they have to pay the version upgrade fee?

If you purchase a license a short time before a major release, are you entitled to a free upgrade?
I'm not sure you can buy a 1.5.x license anymore.
Best to buy a Gold License with a lifetime upgrade included just to be safe though
