Please take a look at the following article: http://help.dotnetpanel.com/Administrator%20Guide/Creating%20Taxations.aspx. I guess it may helps you to get an idea on how to configure taxes.

Hi Paul,

I already figured that one out. I added a tax called "BTW" (our dutch tax) to the list and removed the rest. the tax is active and supposed to add a percentage of 19,00% to the invoice.

However when I open an invoice I see this:

testdomain.eu	Domain Name Registration	1	EUR 0.00	EUR 0.00
Sub Total				EUR 20.00
Taxes 0%				EUR 0.00
Total				EUR 20.00

Do I need to take another step to see the taxes in my invoices too?

a few weeks ago, I was confused with same problem.

As you may already saw, there is another thread about documentation and api problems.

DNP is not well-documented. This is the main problem.

And about the taxes, If I am not wrong, you need to define taxes state by state.

You can not define a taxation country-wide.

Cause my tax still isn't working. Any ideas why?

Settings:

Name; BTW

Status; Active

Country: All Countries

State/province: All checked

Tax Type: Percentage

Amount 19.00

Output:"

gdgddggfd.eu	Domain Name Registration	1	EUR 20.00	EUR 20.00
Sub Total				EUR 120.00
BTW 19.00%				EUR 0.00
Total				EUR 120.00

Mark,

it used to work but I upgraded to the latest DNP and it's all broken again. Not very impressed as I now have to manually create the invoices using my accounting package. I'm not sure what sort of regression testing is done when a new release is made.
