This is my first time I work with DotNetPanel, first; It's a verry goof product!!

But when I installed every thing correctly (I suppose ) on a Windows Server 2008, IIS7, FTP7, SQL Express 2005 SP2, DNP 2.2.2 machine, I wanted to configure the DotNetPanel Server. I get an error with the Web:

Service installation results:

• There was an error while adding 'DNP_IUSRS' group: Could not create system group

And with FTP: 

Service installation results:

• There was an error while adding 'DNPFtpUsers' group: Could not create system group

I tried to add this groups manually, but it doesn't work...

What went wrong ?

Hello,

 Have you checked your services to ensure that Workstation Service is running as this is necessary (at least in server 2003) to create user and group accounts.

I have checked that! But the service was running and it start "Automatic"

I have reset that service but the problem is not gone!

Is it AD-enabled environment?

Yes, on the same Server 2008 machine are the following roles installed:

DNS, AD, IIS7 (with FTP7) and Exchange and SQL 2005 Enterprise....

AD works with tim427.net and my (future ) site had the same domain.

nobody?

I have tested with the new Server 2008. Version RC1....

 I still have the same problem...
