Thats too funny,  I think I am going to make DotNetPanelControlPanel.com  Stick out tongue

It seems to be lacking alot of the DNP options, I dont see that panel taking off anytime soon.

    Re: DNP RIP OFF?

I know the guy that runs it by the name of John. I bought a few years ago "DotNetDating" asp script from him now he has the company name or had it as tampa web development. Anyways bottom line he sells crap scripts, and he never updates or fixes anything. Trying to get him to fix his own crap is like pulling teeth. Total rip off. Totally lacks the genuis and support of Feodor and his team.

I notice that they do not compare themselves to DNP in their product comparisons matrix. I also notice that there are very few entries in their forums.

    Re: DNP RIP OFF?

We actually made the mistake of buying this fake DNP, DNP was recomended to us, we did a google and somehow ended up at Johns site, then the nightmare began, Never could get the panel running right, Ruined our server finally had shut it down, even when the panel was uninstalled, just migrated the cusomers to a new server. Thing was we needed a hosting panel integrated the weekend we purchased it, these guys acted as they were going to be right their to assist by email the way though, hoped install would go ok and would not have to be emailing them, well was wrong on that one, could not even get a quarter the way through the installer, at that point we found out that it came with zero documentation, NONE WHATSOEVER! Then we emailed them, no reponse back though, was like where did ya go? The Bank? A week later we get response, never answered our questions, just said sorry for taking so long to respond, then another week passed, again we get a response saying sorry, Johns wife had a baby and he was out and not working, still no answers to questions. We tried get a refund them, that never happened, they evenually suspended our account so we could not login at the site to even download the software, emailed asking why and got no response ever. Finally almost a year later we thought we would see how and if it had came along at all, it appears the same though, maybe the bugs were fixed, seems work in the demo. Also they restored our account sometime over the year. Anyway we still hold a valid license for their crap panel, not sure what we will do with it. I know they did say a couple mentions in emails to us (and we still have the emails) that it had no documentation but included 100% of the source and we could change it or do as we pleased with it. SO, maybe we should sell it, I thinking maybe $25 Unlimited use unlimited domains (no license required with it). I will sell it under the name "Not Dot Net Panel" maybe after a while I could finally recoupe the money we spent on it when it was beta stage and they ripped me off, then we could actually buy the real DNP...

Like I said $25 Unlimited use unlimited domains (no license required with it). I will sell it under the name "Not Dot Net Panel"
