WHM Complete Solutions and DNP integration

Don't know if anyone is using this billing/support application?

There is a thread about support for DNP on their forums. Apparently they have problems with integration with the DNP API.

Does DNP know anything about the status of this integration?

We are working with Matt at WHMCS and DNP to try and get this done.  I am not sure yet why whmcs cant get the API working as expected,  Other billing software in PHP have already intregreated with dnp so why whmcs cant do it is beyond me.

We hope that soon dnp and whmcs and work things out and come up with a solution, whmcs intergration is needed for dnp.

As of today, no new updates and I dont think any work is getting done on it, at this time it does not look like its going to happen anytime soon.

I to have been waiting on this for ages and have been one of those in that thread to. Does anyone know exactly what the problem is? Matt seems very quiet on the matter.

Alternatively- any chance of a Linux version of DNP that we can manage through a central ecommerce install? Stick out tongue

I have nearly completed a DNP module for whmcs, just need to finish off the changepackage function.

Once complete I will submit it to Matt at WHMCS.

Happy to hear this as Matt at WHMCS could not get it done.

Just fixing one final snag in the changepassword function then it should be a green light. Following Options need to be set in the products server options in WHMCS

PlanID :  The hosting plan ID in DNP

parentPackageId :  The parent Package ID of the reseller that the users account in created under.

EnterPrise Server Port: Allows you to use a different port other than the defualt to communicate with the enterprise server.

The following flags are set to true in the new package call

htmlMail, sendAccountLetter, createPackage, sendPackageLetter, tempDomain, createWebSite, createFtpAccount, createMailAccount.

May be worth making sendPackageLetter and tempDomain optional as new config options in whmcs?

Why just them, make them all optional, I'm sure if you are doing two of them then it should be very easy to do them all.

I'm currently using AWBS, is WHM any good / better, AWBS is nice but it is so SLOOOW, customers actually complain and I'm sure it actually puts off some clients off even though it is nothing to do with the server its running on, everything else runs v.fast..

I am making them all configurable now, except for create package. Currently the following options are configurable:

Package Name: The package name in WHMCS, translates to the space name in DNP

PlanID :  The hosting plan ID in DNP

parentPackageId :  The parent Package ID of the reseller that the users account in created under.

Enterprise Server Port: Allows you to use a different port other than the defualt to communicate with the enterprise server.

Different Potal URL : Tickbox to select if your portal domain is different to the ES server address

Portal URL: URL to portal that is used if Different Potal URL is ticked

Send DNP email: Tick to send the welcome emails from DNP as configured in your mail policies

Create mail account: tick to create a mail account

Create FTP account : tick to create an FTP account, if ticked FTP username and password are same as control panel login

Temp domain:  tick to create a temp domain

I'm trying to make it as accomodating as possible so any ideas please let me know.

I haven't used AWBS, but WHMCS is fast and very nice and well laid out. You can download a free trial to try it out.

I would be happy to beta test the module whenever it's completed. It would make my life easier! Thanks for the hard work OnionMan. I hope it works. What features will the module have?

All the basic WHM functions create/suspend/unsuspend/changepackage/delete/change password. Currently working on being able to track bandwidth and diskspace usage through WHMCS but that is proving tricky.

That's good to know! Let me know if I can beta test at all. I'm sick of doing things manually. [:'(]

Hi OnionMan, I have been testing the trial of WHMCS and it seems be very good. How long do you think before the DNP module can be used?

BTW, thank you for sharing this with everyone.

    Cheers
