Some errors with Ecommerce (2.4.1)

    Some errors with Ecommerce (2.4.1)

    Hi Guys!

    I have a big problem because my DNP eCommerce isn't working as expected...

    I browse to http://portal.sunplasma.com/Default.aspx?pid=econlinestore&ResellerId=1, click on category, choose any of the hosting plans, select billing cycle, no addons, offline payment and register new user. I give all informations to proceed. Accept TOC.

    Following shows up in Audit Log:

    Information: ECOMMERCE / ADD_CONTRACT (serveradmin)
    -- no detail information contained --
    Information: Storefront / SUBMIT_CUSTOMER_ORDER (serveradmin)
    00:00:00  ADD_INVOICE

    I receive  "Invoice Summary Information" email.

    In "Customers Invoices" I now see the invoice and in "Customer Services" the ordered HostingPlan. "Customers Payments" is empty. The new registered user does NOT show up in "Customers".

    I click on "Complete Checkout"

    Now in "Customers Payments" the payment shows up.

    I approve the payment.

    I receive "Payment Received Notification" email.
    In "Customers Payments" (column "Status") and "Customers Invoices" (column "Invoice Paid") the payment also shows up.
    I go to "Customers Services" where all columns contain correct values.
    Then I click on the service, seeing "Username" is not showing up in "View Service Details".
    I click on "Activate Service", getting "Error executing operation"

    I have tried switching language back to default (english) on login and then activate service - same error.
    Then I tried to order another HostingPlan - same error.
    After that I created a User with serveradmin and tried to order a HostingPlan by specifying this users credentials - same error.

    I have a clean install of DNP 2.4.1 done with DNP Configuration Studio, no updates applied.
    portal.sunplasma.com is installed with the application installer within DNP Portal, but same error occurs by using the initial installation from DNPCS (http://213.235.239.42:9001)

    Please help as this is VERY important to us!!

     Hi,

     I have had things like this for the past 3 months and DNP support still have not fixed it. I have customer that haven't even paid for 5 months as DNP was personally looking it to this for me. I didn't think I would have to make other arrangements. Personally have given up on the Ecommerce Module. Angry

     Any fix for this? We're having a bunch of intermittent account creation and service setup problems when we go through the ECommerce portion. Works some time and not others.

    More on this.

    The error is in the Core package which we do not have source for.  When we run a SQL profile and capture the commands the following is ran:

    exec GetPackage @ActorId=1,@PackageID=0

    We can't seem to find a PackageID=0 which results in no records being returned. We think this might have something to do with the problem.

    Hi Mark,

    According to the trace information yo've specified it seems that you're browsing storefront while logged in as serveradmin, aren't you? If yes, that's the source of the issue. Ecommerce storefront should not be browsed under serveradmin account but instead you should use a customer account for these purposes.
