Using two mailservers hmailserver and smartermail 5

Hi all my first post here! I have purchased the newest dotnetpanel 2.5.0 and standard licsense with 50 smartermail etc. When making a server you can add more than one email-server to the mail-service. I added hmailserver and smartermail. But when making hosting plans/users etc. I can't seem to find any selection/option on which emailserver I want to use for that configuration. I only use 1 IP-address but different ports obviously. Can't seem to find anything about this in the forum or at help.dotnetpanel.com Pointing me in the right direction would be much appraciated :) Regards Staalorm ------- PhP 5 DotNetPanel 2.5.0 - 1 server license Zend PhP Optimizer Server 2003 SE running as a virtual server on VMWare ESX 3i hmailserver 4.4.1 build 273 smartermail 5.1 MySql 5.0.51 MSSQL 2005 Express IIS 6 Filezilla Clamwin Spyware Terminator -------

When you logon with serveradmin, on top click on Configuration > Virtual Server. Create two different virtual servers. One with all services + SmarterMail and one with all services + hmailserver. Now you can create your hosting plans, create one hosting plan that uses Virtual Server 1 (with SmarterMail) and create one hosting plan that uses Virtual Server 2 (with hmailserver)

Hi Ingvald. That is a good solution and I will definately try it! I found an earlier thread about this topic that stranded without getting a full solution; http://forum.dotnetpanel.com/forums/p/4596/22493.aspx#22493 Feodor Fitsner was kind enough to reply so I include his reply here for the benefit of the next person that want to find out about this :) "There is no possibility to have both mail servers in the same hosting plan/hosting space. However, mail server could be combined with Exchange in the same space." kindly Staalorm
