    Any one know of any windows based software for blog hosting, something like Wordpress-MU but will work with IIS. Commercial or open source as long as it works. Looking for something that people can sign up and start their own blog, most will want a private/invite only blog.

    He is talking about Wordpress MU and not the regular WP. WP is of course working fine, we even have an application installer for DNP for that.

    There are indeed issues with WP MU on IIS. I had a try with it some time ago, but there were some issues with MOD_REWRITE. Now with the newest ISAPI_REWRITE version (fully compatible with .htaccess) it might be a good idea to have another try.

     Best solutions, was cheap linux hosting, and wordpress MU.

    Community Server is a great product but this was for a non profit org, and didn't have the 5+ thousand for the pro install of CS.

     Yea that's crazy, why would anyone pay that for a forum? Anyone could pay a developer to custom code one for that price. Anyways, I've been running WP on windows just fine. I run Apache 2/Mysql 5/php 5 and it runs great.
