Simple question.
Does the diskspace calculation work in DNP or not?
We are running DNP 2.6.0 and if we look at the Disk Usage for a few random clients it does not match what we see when we are on the server.
Its not even close. One client is using twice as much as DNP is seeing.
Hello,
Yes it does. Well, in an every such case/report it should be carefully verified. Btw, how do you know that the client is using x2 than DNP?
Thanks.
Is DNP ignoring log files in the space usage?
We inlcude log files as some of our clients log files run into hundreds of MB's per month.
I'm sure DNP doesn't include log files.
Simulair problems her.
disk usage report shows us tha the database (SQL2005) usage is 800+ Mb. But when we login in into SQL and look at the database. I see that the database is only 20Mb.
What can be the problem?
I have already requested to include the los files into the disk space calc:

Dear Maciej,
I see you're question, didn't noticed it yet. But they do not give you a solution about the problem... The caculation is still not working fine.
Hell no it doesn't work! and this is why I'm freaking so pissed at this project. And for how many years now? This is crazy. I'm so freaking upset at giving you people my money. IT'S SO FAR OFF, THERES NO WAY WE'D USE IT TO MANAGE AND MAINTAIN SITES FOR OUR CUSTOMERS!!.
People, log files, databases and mail are a part of a customers files and bandwidth consumed by it.
Log files are not taken into account.
Maciej: Log files are not taken into account.
As a host I've decided to keep the log files for three months.
