    Coldfusion Support Please!!!

Coldfusion is almost to version 9.  When will we see support for this?

I will discuss with our developers if we could speed-up CF integration.

However, if I'm not mistaken there are only few companies here on the forums waiting for CF support, no? Wink

Are you really basing this decision on your existing customer base?  Considering you dont currently support CF i would imagine the amount of customers here on the forums would be very little.

It's the thousands of us who dont want Parellels in our back pockets that would consider DNP.

    Good point.

OK, I'll check with developers if we could shift something for benefit of CF support.

Yeah! Please don't base ColdFusion integration on your existing customer base...since ColdFusion isn't currently supported. I'm with DNP because I saw the writing on the wall with HELM/Parellels.

I'm sure there are quite a few HELM users that are skulking these forums to see where CF Support is going.

Count me in. With Coldfusion 8 support, I wouln't hesitate one bit to go with DNP, but with no Coldfusion support, my business is elsewhere.

    Re: Coldfusion Support Please!!!

I have been waiting for the support for a while.  It has been annoying that, as the market thins, less support for this very popular system is out there.  I know that i would leave my current system if you provided the support required to run CF effectively and completely.

Please give this request some priority as there is a HUGE market out there waiting for it.

Also, remember that in customer commentaries, a person will complain more often then they will praise.  but a potential customer RARELY tells you why they didn't buy.

Plus one for support for ColdFusion, especially serving a load balanced configuration. We host 2k+ sites, load balanced across 13 servers, and currently our app manages the domain support, under a Default Web Site configuration. I would be great to migrate this to the IIS level, but it can't truly be done without some form of automation.

Add another vote for CF support. I can't buy your product without it.

Another vote for ColdFusion!  Adobe has an awesome stronghold going with ColdFusion and its integrating so well into their developer suite from Flash to Flex and Dreamweaver.  ColdFusion is rapid application development at its finest, and I think your support of it would be wildly popular.  =)

+1 for CF support. If dotnetpane supported CF I would be using it right now instead of Plesk.

I would also like to see support for ColdFusion in your product as well. We are hosting hunderds of CF sites and always looking for a better way to manage them. We have given your software a test run, but until you add support for CF (and CF9 coming up soon), we can't really use you. Otherwise great work guys!

Well that's awesome! I do truly apreciate you guys supporting us ColdFusion hosters. I now feel complete...almost...

I know you guys have just completed this and are probably still fleshing this all out but I was wondering when support for CF on IIS7 would be out?

Any timelines or anything like that?

    Thanks again guys!
