Hi,

I have just installed DNP 2.8 (free version) on a machine to test it. Everything was installed fine. I got the shortcut to login to DotNetPanel, opened it, got the dotnetpanel portal. Now what's the user name and password to login with?

I know a new windows user was created during the portal installation but when I try it I get incorrect login!

Can anyone please tell me what is the default admin login to DNP Portal once it is installed?

Try: 

Username: serveradmin
Password: serveradmin

Ok. i tried user dnpportal with no luck.

 Opened database and found the table users, with admin username as serveradmin, what's the password for this user?

 I manually created a new record in table users but again can't login with it. Is it just me or is something wrong with the installation?

It's probably me.

I will appreciate any advice please.

Graham, thanks a lot. It worked. I can't believe I spent 1 hour trying to do that. I couldn't find any documentation or anything whatsoever that clearly states the username and password.

Anyway, thanks again and I'm off to have a play with DNP.
