New Feature - Introducing "Microsoft Web Application Gallery" Module beta!
"Microsoft Web Application Gallery" module enables web site users to install various web applications with a single click. Application packs are driven by open source community and certified by Microsoft. "Microsoft Web Application Gallery" module is supposed to replace DNP Applications Installer over time. You could find more information about "Microsoft Web" platform and the latest list of available application packs at Microsoft.com/Web web site.
The module requires free Microsoft Web Platform Installer (Web PI) tool that could be downloaded from Microsoft.com/Web web site. Web PI allows you to install the latest version of Microsoft Web Platform, including framework, tools, server, database and more.
Note: To use "Microsoft Web Applications Gallery" module download and install Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 Beta (Web PI) on the web server and then using Web PI install and configure the following components:
- .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (Web Platform > Frameworks and Runtimes > Customize)
- SQL Server 2008 Management Objects (Web Platform > Database > Customize)
- URL Rewrite 1.0 (Web Platform > Web Server > Customize)
