    Web Site Properties - Error

     Hi All,

I was hoping some one could help me with this little issue I seem to be having.

I have just upgraded my DNP to  2.8.7 on all my servers (I was about 4 versions out) and now I get the following error on the Web Site Properties page. I'm note really sure what I have done.

Page URL: http://[[my control panel address]]/Default.aspx?pid=SpaceWebSites&mid=42&ctl=edit_item&ItemID=15&SpaceID=7

I have also found that the link to my SmarterStats no longer links you to the statistics site.

Any help or ideas would be great.

     hi

make sure that all services ie Dotnetpanel Enterprise Server, Dotnetpanel Server aswell as portal are on 2.8.7 on ALL servers not just the main server.

This error usually means that server is not updated to 2.8.7 if its a remote server double check it.

     Hi Chris,

Thank you for getting back to me about this but that was one of the first things I thought off, I have checked via the server status page and they both show 2.8.7 I have also just checked again using hte Config Studio to see if the upgrade went correctly and it seems to have.

The only thing that I can think left to do is uninstall the Server Application and then try to install it again.

2.8.7 is good to go for production. Already running on few machines without any issues.

Re: Web Site Properties - Error

I fully agree 2.8.7 is a great improvement on the existing platforms, and I'm sure the team at DNP Towers will continue to expand on this.

However, I have still not been able to resolve this issue - I'm just lucky that the servers I did first were for my managed customers and I can do all the work myself.

What I will be doing is removing the Server Application and re-Installing it this weekend which I'm hoping will resolve the issues I'm having as I think that maybe one of the old DLL files may have got left behind somewhere.

I will of course try to remember to let you all know how it goes.
