Just wondering if anybody is using DNP in a virtualized setup, ie VMware, Hyper-V etc. and what your experiences are.
Especially with using the Exchange/Sharepoint solution.

I assume you are not talking about provisioning Virtual Machines from DNP with Hyper-V, but actually running the DNP installation + its applications on a virtual environment?

We have been doing it for a while now, and there is no problem at all. Of course if you are talking about Exchange and Sharepoint (MSSQL) it's important you have a  very fast disk subsystem. I am talking about 15K RPM SAS in RAID 10 for instance. Or a SAN if that fits your budget. But that would be the same for virtualized server without DNP.

We have been running DNP on vmware v3.5 and then v4 for the past two years with no issues at all. Works very well, but we do not do exchange or sharepoint.

I have'nt face any issue with DNP -Hyper V so far but with no Exchange/Sharepoint.
