hMailServer 5.x (BETA) DNP provider: Exception adding provider

    Hi,

I'm trying to add hMailServer 5.x (BETA) provider to existing Server.

The provider shown as added, but updating the service throws an exception.

    My system is w2k3 se sp2 x32, DNP v2.8.12, hMailServer 5.2.1-B361.

    The service details as follows:

    Group: Mail
    Provider: hMailServer 5.x (BETA)
    Name: hMailServer 5.x (BETA)
    Comments: DNP built-in provider

    Service Settings
    Public IP Address: 192.168.1.5
    Admin Login: Administrator
    Admin Password: password
    Name Type Data
    mail  A  192.168.1.5

     MX  10, mail.[DOMAIN_NAME]
    webmail  CNAME  mail.[DOMAIN_NAME]

     Somebody has the same issue?

I was using DNP's hMailServer 4 provider and SimplerSoftware's hMailServer 5.1 provider before. Now I removed those 2 and trying to install DNP's hMailServer 5 provider.

the file was not found in the Bin folder to begin with so no back up able to be done.

and now thats done the forwarding i was testing with seems ok , and no issues (think was just a case of missing file)

    This fix worked fine.

The actual file was missing in the specified folder. Huh?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Thanks for the info. I'll check why it is missed in 2.8.12
