DNP not changing SmarterMail User passwords

    DotNetPanel 2.8.12
    SmarterMail Enterprise 6.5
Windows Server 2008 64-bit on all servers

In DNP, I can set up a new mail account with a password and it works great.  Then when I go back in to the user and change the password, DNP acts like it saves it and everything is good.  However, I can't log in to SmarterMail with that new password.  It doesn't look like DNP is changing the passwords in SmarterMail.  One of our customers reported this issues, and I tested it out and found it to be true.

Is this a reported bug?  Anyone have a fix?

    Thanks,
    Gary

    Hi Gary,

Could you please confirm DNP updates in SM 6.5 user's profile properties like first and last name correctly? Is account password the only thing not changed?

    Thanks.

Thank you for the quick reply.  It looks like neither of us had noticed the "Change Password" check box before.  Checking that box changed the password in SmarterMail... imagine that :-).

    Thanks,
    Gary

Yes, it is. It stops a user from changing a mailbox password by an accident. Glad to hear you've solved the issue!
