I want to be able to build my own front-end website which includes all my hosting packages.  I offer Paypal Standard and 2Checkout for payment.  What I need is a return page that will activate the site and manage all recurring billing and such.  It would just need to create the account, activate all items the customer paid for and display a confirmation something or other.

The DNP Ecommerce is just too lacking and I am unable to modify it to match my website, therefore I want to be able to simply make my own website.

Anyone have any suggestions?

   We've already done this on our current site and I'm working on some major enhancements for the next version of our site (based on CSK 2.0).  If you are interested in having me help you out on this, just send me a PM. 

   For payment processing, we use both 2Checkout and PayPal's Website Payments Pro Payflow Edition ... this isn't publicized but it's available to US-based customers and integrates their Payflow product (purchased from Verisign) with a PayPal account.  It offers recurring billing, a full reporting API, the ability to make optional transactions against an existing recurring profile and a whole lot more.  Personally, I find this to be far more flexible and powerful than 2Checkout and it has the recurring payments feature that is so crutial to our business.  If you are interested in that as well, let me know. 

I built a simple interface into DNP from Whois.Cart() using their published HAPI and a little bit of help from the DNP guys to build an XML interface.

I offer Linux hosting, DNP hosting, domain names, software, broadband all from the same billing page, I guess this is the sort of thing you're wanting to do?

Well... i would want the optimal setup, but i'm not sure what that would be.  I will be creating 3 categories with 3 subs each.  I will be making a nice fancy page and all that stuff.

What i would need would be for the client to be able to signup on MY site and have the data integrated with DNP... then they would be taken thru a checkout process on MY site and the stuff info would be created in DNP... then they will go to pay at either 2co or paypal and once they are returned from there to MY site, they will be activated and ready to go in DNP.

Therefore the integration has 3 sections....

Create the user
Create the space data
Activate the space after payment is confirmed.

It would be great to see it in action!

We are still working on this but hopefully there will be a working model in the next week or so. James has also whipped up a great auto test plan which welcomes, informs, cancels and deletes users too.

We haven't built this in yet but it is definitely a must have as we want clients to sign-up, give their domain name or purchase one and then have this domain name added to their plan.

any more word on this???
