Check that you have correct URL to DNP Server specified on server properties page in DNP.

Re: Error reading web site information

I have only one machine.  Is it in the server properties pages the url from the server is http://127.0.0.1:9003

I verified the configuration studio, and this is the url i am using.  I changed the password to be sure in DNP & configuration studio.  He tells me that the password has been successfully changed.

Yesterday i bought dnp, now i try to add the awstats and i get a similar error.

Re: Error reading web site information

Are you able to open http://127.0.0.1:9003 in the browser?

Also, what web site bindings (host headers) does DNP Server have?

Re: Error reading web site information

No, i can't open 127.0.0.1:9003 in my browser.

It has 127.0.0.1:9003 in the bindings.

Apparently the server website is "stopped" (in IIS manager).  When i try to start it, it gives me the message "The parameter is incorrect".

When i took the properties of the Sever web site, it had as application pool: <Invalid Application Pool>.  I changed this to "DotNetPanel Server Pool".

This problem is solved.  I have no idea why it happened, but i think it has something to do with the upgrade of 2.0.5 to 2.1.0 (launched the upgrade of the different parts in the wrong order i think).

Thank you very much for your support.

Re: Error reading web site information

Hi, I'm having the same error.... only I just moved my servers to a different co-lo so I have all new IP addresses.  I double checked all dnp ip addresses and removed all the old ones.  But still I cannot access the website properties page.  I can access everything else through dnp.  Yes, I can browse to my domains both on the server and from another location.  Any ideas?

     Thanks in advance... awesome product!

Hello?  Any suggestions on how to fix this?  I've racked my mind trying to find out if it's still referencing an old ip address and I can't find it anywhere, in the database or config files.

Re: Error reading web site information

Yup, as I mentioned earlier, the url's haven't changed.  Just the Ip's in which the servers are using.  I can browse to the dnpserver config and I see:

     http://dotnetpanelserver.fivetalentsoftware.com/.

     Thanks for your time,

if the enterprise server isn't on the same machine as your new server then have you installed the license on the new server

Re: Error reading web site information

Yup, the enterprise machine is still the same and the server machine is still the same.  As mentioned earlier, the only thing that has changed in my configuration is the ip addresses.  Is there any other piece of information I can share that will make this issue easier to figure out?

Re: Error reading web site information

Sorry didn't read that bit, is the error in the first post the exact error your getting.

So all you did was move your server to a new Data Center and update the DNS to include the new IP's not sure what else could be wrong
