Do you mean disable Ecommerce for the serveradmin account?

Yes, it is. Go to the serveradmins "Edit Details" page, tick off Ecommerce Enabled checkbox and then save changes were made.

Afterwards it Ecommerce feature becomes inaccesible for all customers and the serveradmin itself.

    Thanks.

If I uncheck the Ecommerce Enabled checkbox, update and enter the Edit Details page again.  The checkbox is again checked.  Is it possible to change the checkbox to remember it's setting instead of defaulting to checked?

    Thank you,

hi there, are you using "serveradmin" as the username to login or a peer account created under the same priviledge ?

fyi, if you are not using "serveradmin", then after you disable the box and go back the edit details,it will still be there.
thus,my advice for you is use the "serveradmin" to login and change the setting.

Why do I save changes and nothing is saved for serveradmin under details?

    Hi,

Could you please be more specific? What changes have you done? Changes for what?

    Thanks.

Re: How to Disable Ecommerce Enabled?

If you log in to DNP as "serveradmin", click Edit Details on the right under servereadmin summary, remove the tick "Ecommerce Enabled", and press the update button to save the change, the Ecommerce is still enabled.

I also tried changing the serveradmin last name when removing the tick to see if it remembered that, and it didn't do that either so it isn't just a problem with the tickbox.

    I'm on a new trial install running DNP v2.8.1, Win2003 Std SP2, and tried btoh Firefox 3 + IE7

    Hi,

I have similar to your system, but DNP v2.8.2.

I just tried to uncheck "Ecommerce Enabled" and it works fine. Ecommerce Admin menu disapears and checkbox stays unchecked.

Try to upgrade to the latest DNP v2.8.2, should be fine then.

    Regards,
    Jegor.

your account might not have the required privilage to change the settings. Every user does not have the right to access the whole database and change it. Try to contact the adminstrator...
