    Best AV client for Server 2008 and DNP?

    Hi guys,

    I am mulling the different options for my DNP 2008 x64 based box concerning AV software. Does anyone have experiance or thoughts on this? I am leaning towards Forefront client as that has done really well on my 2003 servers and is hardly noticed from a performance stand point.

    I am already providing edge protection with a Cisco ASA5505 with protocol inspection (fixup) enabled as well as the built in Server 2008 Adv. Firewall turned on. But it seems that I would sleep better knowing there was a definition based scanner running too checking files that clients place on the box.

    You can go with Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Server Enterprise Edition. I am pretty sure it works on Windows 2008 x64 as I have one customer running it on his server.

    ESET NOD32 also works on Windows 2008. However I am not sure about x64 build.

     Has anyeone used Bit Defender, AVG or Avast on their servers? What's your experiences?

    My experience so far has been great using AVG Network Edition on our servers..
