Hi,

What's the current reccomended procedure of the following:

I have a virtual server with a bunch of services, one of them an IIS6 service.
Now I have a new IIS7 service on another server (obviously) and would to "upgrade" my root hosting plan so from now on all hosting spaces and websites will be stored on the IIS7 server.

I know I can just change the plans so that all new spaces and websites will be created on the IIS7, but what about the old websites and spaces on the IIS6 server? How should I move them ?

 I would be really interested in this as well as we are lookig to move all our IIS6 hosting to IIS7.0. An inplace upgrade is a thought... 

In my case, upgrading the IIS6 server is not an option. I would prefer moving the web-sites to a proven and fully configured server instead. (also lesser downtime).

 Has anyone had any experience with this ??

Has anyone come up with any ideas how to do this ?

 I'm a little confused how to do this, that is basicly moving a space from one server to another and upgrade the web to IIS7 while not destroying any other resources which are note physically stored on the space (like mail, dns and SQL)

Don't even bother yet to migrate. Wait for better support. I hope in the next version of DNP. I'm currently using IIS7 and I lost lots of functionalities since I moved to Windows 2008.

Can you please elaborate in detail on what you lost??
