Yes, it could be very useful, due to the previous hmailversion version (4.4.3) wasn't supported either!

(As I see there were many problem with it)

If the COM API change log worked, then it would be easier to figure out.

Does NOT work for me: http://hmailserver.com/documentation/v5.0/?page=com_object_changelog

    Thanks,

    Jegor.

hmailserver-support was the main-reason why we picked dotnetpanel and i hope, the guys there get support for hmailserver 5.0 up and running as fast as possible.   :-)

You'll be lucky to get a response or even any development on DotNetPanel. These forums are starting to dry up.

You wouldn't happen to have this TODO list would you? I mean so that we could take a look at it?

    Guys,

If you really in hurry to get hMailServer 5 support you can test it your self, it'll take max a day to do it.

But I think for DNP team it's a good idea to implement hMailServer 5 support along with fixing existing hMailServer issues (at least 3 of them I reported myself).

As I have written in another topic too, one of the main reason was support for hMailServer.. Please make it supported soon!

I have written a plug-in for hMailServer 5, it's was based on the same UI as the v4(as of now). So users wont even know the difference.

If you want a copy just PM me.

Also if you want functionality added/changed/fixed just let me know what you need/want.

Someone PM and asked me what this plug-in is. I will reply here as well with the answer.

DNP is a Provider based interface, you can write your own interfaces to different applications, like IIS, exchange, hMail, etc...Once you write the interface you just register it within DNP, and it shows up as a available provider when you add a mail/web/dns/etc server.

All the interfaces today are written solely by DNP, and since I moved to hMail 5 and DNP hasn't written the provider yet, I wrote one myself.

I am currently writing another for MsFTP 7, to use the isolated user mode.

    Wau! Great news!

If you could do one for FTP6 that would be great! Smile

With user isolation integrated with AD you can easily eliminate unique ftp username issue as @domain login part could easily be @USERID for example. And we can drop user prefixes/suffixes mess then.

    Good luck!

    Jegor.
