Could not create FTP account System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null

We've followed several of the suggestions on this forum, but none have fixed this issue. We are trying to create a new Space with a Web Site and FTP User (Filezilla). This is on Windows Server 2008 x64.

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Error executing 'ADD' task on 'Advanced' HOSTING_SPACE_WR ---> System.Exception: Could not create FTP account ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: path1 at System.IO.Path.Combine(String path1, String path2) at DotNetPanel.EnterpriseServer.FtpServerController.AddFtpAccount(FtpAccount item) at DotNetPanel.EnterpriseServer.PackageController.AddPackageWithResources(Int32 userId, Int32 planId, String spaceName, Int32 statusId, Boolean sendLetter, Boolean createResources, String domainName, Boolean tempDomain, Boolean createWebSite, Boolean createFtpAccount, String ftpAccountName, Boolean createMailAccount) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at DotNetPanel.EnterpriseServer.PackageController.AddPackageWithResources(Int32 userId, Int32 planId, String spaceName, Int32 statusId, Boolean sendLetter, Boolean createResources, String domainName, Boolean tempDomain, Boolean createWebSite, Boolean createFtpAccount, String ftpAccountName, Boolean createMailAccount) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at DotNetPanel.EnterpriseServer.PackageController.AddPackageWithResources(Int32 userId, Int32 planId, String spaceName, Int32 statusId, Boolean sendLetter, Boolean createResources, String domainName, Boolean tempDomain, Boolean createWebSite, Boolean createFtpAccount, String ftpAccountName, Boolean createMailAccount) at DotNetPanel.EnterpriseServer.esPackages.AddPackageWithResources(Int32 userId, Int32 planId, String spaceName, Int32 statusId, Boolean sendLetter, Boolean createResources, String domainName, Boolean tempDomain, Boolean createWebSite, Boolean createFtpAccount, String ftpAccountName, Boolean createMailAccount) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[ parameters) at DotNetPanel.EnterpriseServer.esPackages.AddPackageWithResources(Int32 userId, Int32 planId, String spaceName, Int32 statusId, Boolean sendLetter, Boolean createResources, String domainName, Boolean tempDomain, Boolean createWebSite, Boolean createFtpAccount, String ftpAccountName, Boolean createMailAccount) at DotNetPanel.Portal.UserCreateSpace.CreateHostingSpace()

Also, possibly related, what is the purpose and when should we use the "Windows Server 2008" Service. Should we add that as a service to all of our Physical machines and then to our Virtual? I just don't understand exactly what it is.

    Thanks, Gary

Fixed this by adding the OS Service of the web server to the Virtual server and then setting the System Settings in the Hosting Plan.
