    Hello sir...please do help me in deploying asp.net application...

    Hello sir...i have developed an asp.net application with ms sql server database...but i am facing problem in knowing the server name which i require to write in connection string....so please guide me to know the server name..and how to upload the database files and uploading the aspx pages.....so please help me out sir....

    If it is your domain on another server.  The welcome letter should have the SQL Servers name.

    Or you can do a ping, tracert, or dig from the command prompt on the domain to get the name of the web server hosting that domain.  The web server and the SQL Server usually has the same name.  The name will be the information before the 1st period.

    the last hop from the tracert for the domain should look like this  ms-96520c977576.QUALITYASP.local [68.84.157.209]  So in this case the SQL Servers name will be ms-96520c977576.

    QUALITYASP will be the name of the active directory and local means the is not a internet domain it a network domain.
