    Slow DNP Forum Post Moderation

    I made a post over 8 hours ago in the general support area of the forums and it mentioned that a moderator must first review my post before it is viewable... well, 8 hours later and a moderator hasn't approved it yet. Is this the type of speed one should expect from DNP support? If so it looks like I should be looking for an alternative product. One would think that seeing they offer a free model of their paid product that they would want to help people get the free model up and running smoothly so they could up-sell them into the paid model. The support forums here are extremely lacking.

    A community plays a huge role in the support of products. Look at the incredible success of open source products. Need help with PHP, Apache, MySQL, etc? It's all over the place which makes it even EASIER for early adopters. Microsoft's knowledge base is available to the entire world, not just to paying customers, and they have tens of thousands of "open forums" where their employees help customers free of charge.

    Seeing as this is the official forum of DotNetPanel, and I posted a General Support question 24 hours ago that still hasn't been approved from moderation you bet it raises questions. That says volumes to me. If that is how they treat potential customers how are they going to treat their actual customers once they have your money? I've also noticed a least 10 posts during my searches that says "we'll help you for a $25 ticket"... and it is things they could easily reply to in a few minutes.

    There is no comparison between the cPanel forums and here.
