SmarterMail 6.x

I am using SmarterMail 6.x for my mailserver. I got everything setup with DNP and set it up as a IIS site.

When I try to Create a New Mail Account I fill in the information and hit save but then no account is created. I get not error or success message.

If I go directly to the SmarterMail website I can create accounts.

It seems I am missing some config setting between DNP and SmarterMail.... can I get help on this??

Hi there, Could you please send a couple of screenshots depicting your SmarterMail service provider configuration settings within DotNetPanel? Also it would be helpful to see if there are any related records in Audit Log (DotNetPanel)... Thanks.

I've had a similar issue when the password used for creation was not comple. When using a complex password the mailbox has been created successfully.

Hi Handyjay

Make it sure that portal is able to communicate the smartermail API, In Smartermail Site in IIS host header settings set Unassigned IP all to 9998 and in the URL of SmarterMail web interface use http://127.0.0.1:9998/services.
