DNP and FTP Password not in Sync.

When you change the password for DNP user account. The change only update the DNP account but not the FTP account. In another word the login to the  FTP is still using the old password. Isn't the change suppose to update both accounts. If not how do I change the FTP account password?

    Thanks

     Rocky

    Hi William,

Those accounts are not related and password of FTP account should be changed separately.

The only way to change FTP password is to login to Windows Server and change from there. Is there anyway to change within the DNP?

Also I get this error below when I create new FTP account within DNP. This is the sequence I did in order.

    1. Type in new user name.

    2. Type in password and confirm.

    3. Click on Home directory box. select "root" which is "/"

    4. all "Read" and "write" checked

    5. Click on "save" box.

    This is the error message.
