Yes, I do. And I would recommend everyone to do it as well. I've experienced several customers who have had sql log files that grew enourmesly much by some reason even if the database wasn't near as big in size, running SQL 2005. Don't know if it's a bug in 2k5 that doesn't appear...

SQL Server Maintenance Plans Fail After Server Rename

My server provider renamed my server and did not let me know. I found out when I tried to login to the SQL Server. I also realized that my Maintenance Plans are not working because they still reference the old server name. I did quite a bit of research but cannot figure out how to get the Maintenance...

Simulair problems her. disk usage report shows us tha the database (SQL2005) usage is 800+ Mb. But when we login in into SQL and look at the database. I see that the database is only 20Mb. What can be the problem?
