  • Installing on SQL Server 2008

    While attempting to install DNP 2.5.0 on a Windows 2k3 R2 SP2 box with SQL Server 2008, I am presented with an error message stating "This program can be installed on SQL Server 2005 only." Is there a way around this? I can run the DNP databases in 2005 compatibility mode.

    Hi Paul, Thanks for the posting but I managed to find this link http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143705(SQL.90).aspx which pointed me into the right direction, also for anyone else that has this problem and is using the Express Edition of MSSQL 2005 you will need to have the Management Studio...

    The database passwords do not have any of those symbols. They only have numbers and letters as suggested.
